New meeting time, new venue and experiment with new format

While I was away, the group continued with Catherine and Anna taking responsibility for organising meetings. We now have a new time and venue and will experiment with a new meeting format at the next meeting on Monday 16th July. This is described in an email that Catherine sent out last week, and which I've reproduced below:

We had our first Monday morning meeting in the University Club and the proximity to hot chocolate and coffee was appreciated! We went through Corrie's sensroy preferences questionnaire and she discussed how the results can direct work/study strategies. - very helpful for those prone to procrastination. Please see Krystyna if you would like a copy of this.

The next meeting is scheduled for Monday 16th July at 9.30 - 11.am in the Library Meeting Room G.04, located on the Ground Floor of the Library Reception Desk and not too far from the coffee shop (phew).

Krystyna is leading this one and here's her description:

    Theme: Making progress with writing

Programme: 9.30 - 9.45 Catch up on progress with tasks set at last meeting

9.45 - 10.40 Factilitated writing session (work in paris to clarify thoughts on audience, message and purpose; write uninterruptedly for 15 minutes, give feedback in pairs; repeat)

10.40 - 11.00 Group debrief and planning for next session

I'll provide lots of paper, pencils, post-it notes and whiteboard margers and you can bring your laptops (or use paper if you'd rather).

    Venue:  Library Meeting Room G.04

Please remember that friends are welcome, so if you haven't been for a while feel free to bring support!
