Apologies for the break in transmission
I want to say I'm sorry to people who may have been waiting for a blog entry from me for a while. I don't have a much of an excuse. It's not like I've been away on holidays or something. Although I enjoyed the two extra days away from writing last weekend, I've put in some work on my thesis each university working day. This is in contrast to my supervisors, who are yet again on holidays. So, I'm predicting another Skype meeting next week from which not a great deal will eventuate. We can't really discuss anything, because they will not have had time to read anything. So there go another two weeks down the proverbial.
I suppose my main excuse for not blogging is that not much has really happened. In some sense, "no news is good news". I have just been making very minor alterations to a couple of chapters. And I haven't even got into the touch typing that I said I was going to do. I have instead been prioritising job applications. I've been to two workshops now, and I have another one next week. Unfortunately, I have not put these skills learned into practice as yet. I have however worked out where I'd like to apply. It's just a case of ending the procrastination and actually doing the applications.
