A Day in the Life: Red Eye
Well, after some computer problems and brain malfunctionings I stopped work and any pretensions that I was being productive around five.
At sevenish, after Ben had popped home quickly before fencing, I started listening to a radio discussion on Kaurismaki, the director I'm "writing" on. My parents recorded the program for me a couple of months ago, so it was about time I got to listening to it. It was nothing tremendously insightful - although it was quite amusing having one of the actors trying to remind a journalist who got caught up in the non-realism of the films ("Are working people really supposed to be that dim?") that: "Well, it's... fiction".
I watched half of Chaser, and all of Meet the Robinsons and At the Movies. I made a conscious decision today to not watch Spicks & Specks (as much as I still have a lingering girl-crush on Adam Hills) and focus on the radio program instead.
So here I am, at 11pm, knowing I have another hour or two of writing and agonising to do before I can say I've accomplished anything today...
Good night!
