Surely it can't be February yet?

I have learnt my lesson - if I blog about feeling sick, I should return to blog again as soon as I feel better - lest people get worried. (A special little thank you to everyone who at least pretended to be concerned!)

So, I have recovered.

Aside from that, there's not much to write. I've let the due date of a couple of inter-library loans creep up on me, so for the next couple of days I'll be madly sifting through them, hoping I manage to process quoted before I have to pay a fine, again.

So most likely not much writing going to happen this week. Sigh.

Oh, and it's less than two months to the wedding. So far we still have to organise/decide/get our hands on/finalise

  • music
  • vows
  • my dress
  • Ben's and the best man's suits
  • Ben's shoes
  • Ben's ring
  • my shoes (two pairs of these, since I actually need a pair for a wedding two weeks before ours)
  • my hair decorationy thing
  • order of service booklets
  • chair covers
  • chairs for musicians
  • learning to dance
  • speeches
  • menu and drinks
  • what, when and where to photograph
  • gift registry
  • bonbonniere
  • seating arrangement
  • translations for everything

...and I'm sure I'm forgetting about 68 things.

I'm also suitable distracted by the giddy expectation of the stand up comedy we're going to witness in the next couple of months: first up is Little Britain Live, then Danny Bhoy and then Dylan Moran. We figured we could either invite a few more people to the wedding, or go see Little Britain (which, btw, was indecently expensive). Then it sort of spiralled out of control... Hurrah for the ease of internet purchases!

(oh, and those who don't navigate here via the MyResearchSpace main site - anonymous comments have been switched off again - apparantly there was an influx of penile enlagement offers...)
