Vote on Oral Exams

If you aren't already aware, there is a review of course structures going on at UWA at the moment and this gave us the excuse to try out our new voting gadget to get your opinion on oral exams in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. There has alread been a discussion of oral exams as part of PhDs and Masters on myResearchSpace in theEzone blog.

So, leave a comment and take part in the vote (you will see the current results when you have voted).

Is there any way to vote either or neither or it's more complicated than that?

It doesn't really matter with this issue as we are just testing the technology. However, voting "yes" is signifying that you agree with the importance of testing and validating the verbal communication and interpersonal skills of the "person" as much as the content they have mastered or written about (or had help with the writing of). (And *that's* definitely a sentence ending with a preposition!)
