Telecommuting

Published 18 December 06 10:48 AM

I'm writing this post from sunny Dunsborough - or to be precise, and internet cafe in the new shopping centre in Dunsborough. I had grand plans that involved both having an entire week on holidays away from work and posting daily holiday photos to gloat about this fact. But in reality, I'm still working on tidying up chapter four and trying to organise NQDJ stuff via telecommunte - and I forgot to pack the cable to download photos off the digital camera.

However, I'll have a few drinks in memory of all the other postgrads back in Perth working away. And post photos when I get back.

Ahh yes... Dunsborough.

Nice 350 year old coral bommie in Eagle bay not 100m from the shore, lovely limestone "honeycombs" you can swim through in Canal Rocks, a big shipwreck just 2 miles from Meelup, sea-dragons in Bunker Bay, an artificial-reef fish-haven out from Quindalup,...

so much to do Karen, too much to ignore just to work on your thesis.

Why don't you sign-up for a Dive Course with Cape Dive?  You could be diving tomorrow afternoon.

Peter

There's more to life than diving ... like re-filling your tanks.

We did take down snorkels and goggles (the limit of my diving experience is duck-diving when snorkelling), but didn't get around to using them.

I'd love to dive on the wreck of the Swan one day - it looks like great fun!
