How I am supposed to turn off my Internal Editor Voice in favour of writing when you are green and red squiggling at me?!?

Um turn it off - (tools/options then spelling and grammer in the box that comes up).

Oh, I do realise that that is actually an option., and normally I don't mind having it on. My gripe is more that when I get into full-steam-ahead writing mode, when I'm trying to get thinking and typing speed at the same level, the squiggles throw me because I have to go back an fix them. For some reason, I just can't ignore them, and turning it on or off would also derail me.

Microsoft needs to come up with a psychic on/off option.

Or I could just stop complaining!

It is Microsoft.  As well as being a programing company they also were created to provide something for people to complain about when there is nothing else to complain about.
